It’s the first day after the October 2008 Federal election.

A law that dictates election cycles was bypassed, loads of taxpayer dollars spent on campaigns and advertising, much mud flung, for a net of result of… another minority conservative government.

It would seem that while some countries have a problem with their spending in military, others in social programs, our problem with spending seems to sit with elections. Hoorah.
